Princess Room

The girls are at the age where they are very interested in Princesses! Their room was decorated in a Classic Winnie the Pooh, but since they started ripping the border off, we decided to take advantage of the mess and re-do their room! They LOVE it!! (and so do we!)

Craft Day

There is nothing better than putting a plastic table cloth on the table and letting the kids go at it with paints, crayons, and markers! They had a blast!!!

When I saw that the girls were more interested in painting themselves, the shirts came off!

It may be "Washable Paint", but it is much easier to wash off little bodies than to wash off little shirts!

Our little fish!

Pretty Toes

Yesterday, I went to CVS and bought a pink "instant dry" nail polish for the girls. They were SO good and just sat there watching as I painted their tiny toenails. They look adorable and the girls are really showing them off!!!

Unfortunately, last night Aubrey fell in the driveway and already chipped both her big toe nails, but they still look cute!

Lexi Swimming!

Our little Alexis had a fear of water for the longest time. I literally could not even get her to sit in the bath tub!!! Needless to say, when Mason and Aubrey started swimming lessons this year, Lexi sat comfortably on the sidelines watching! Slowly, we got her to come to the steps and "touch" the water. Then she would put her feet in...then her legs...before we knew it, she cried when it was time to get OUT of the water!!!

Alexis is now in swimming lessons as well and she loves it!!

God Bless America!

Happy 4th of July!
This was the first year for as long as I can remember that Wayne did not have to work on the 4th! We swam all morning, took naps in the afternoon and watched the fireworks at night (and we had ice cream from Friendly's!) It was a wonderful day and the kids really enjoyed the fireworks!

The Alligator

Today, Mason came running in the back door yelling "mommy, Tasha chased an alligator into the pool!" Naturally, I said "oh poor lizard, let's go get him out". To which Mason replied "no mommy, it isn't a lizard, it's an alligator!"

Now in Florida, this wouldn't be too far fetched, but since I have no canal's near my house I thought:
1. if it IS an alligator, he traveled a long way!
2. What if it IS an alligator?
3. How did he get under the baby fence and into the water?

A million things ran through my head. I told Mason to wait inside while I checked out the scene.
He was right, it wasn't a lizard.....but thankfully, it wasn't an alligator either!

As luck would have it, Wayne is working right now. (These things only happen when he isn't home!) As I type this, the iguana is still swimming around the pool! He seems quite happy!
