Today, some of my playgroup mommies and I went to the Serenity Garden Tea House for a Mother's Day lunch. It was absolutely beautiful and a much needed day out! It is hard to believe that we have been in a playgroup together for four years now! These woman have become wonderful friends of mine and though we don't get to see each other as often as we would like, I cherish the times we spend together. I love you, girls!

"Look how we've grown!"
Mason just had his "Look how we've grown" play at preschool. As usual, I was in tears watching my little baby sing his little heart out. He was the cutest caterpillar I have ever seen!

~I apologize that these photos are so dark. I have no idea what happened!
solo #1 ~"Butterfly, Butterfly on my toes. Butterfly, Butterfly on my nose"
Mason started his lines and then said "I forgot". It was priceless! But the way he says "butterfly" was the best part of all. He says his "f's" like an "s". So, he said "buttersly, buttersly" He was just adorable and people are still talking about it!
solo #2 ~I'm bringing home a baby caterpillar"
"The itzy bitzy caterpillar climbed up the water spout..."
Family Fun Day
Every year, the fairgrounds has a "Family Fun Fest" which is just amazing! They have every character you can imagine, games, petting zoo, bounce houses...you name it!
This year, when we heard who was going to be there, we knew we could not miss it!
Mason is SO into Star Wars right now! He was in awe!
Just when we thought things couldn't get any better, we read that Strawberry Shortcake was there to tell a story!!!!
Lexi could not take her eyes off "Sabby Cacky" (as she calls her)
swimming lessons
Mason has been taking swim lessons for 2 years with Miss Jenny. We just love her and she is so great with kids! (she is also a teacher at Mason's preschool). This year, we decided to get the girls in lessons as well, since they are now old enough to really "get it". We found that Lexi is absolutely petrified of the water! She does not even like to sit in the bathtub!! I cant figure out where this fear is coming from, but we are going to take it very slow with her and not push the issue. Aubrey, on the other hand, is a little fish! She loves to be in the water.
This was Aubrey's 1st swim lesson

Happy 2nd Birthday, Aubrey and Alexis!!
Yesterday, April 14th, my little angels turned 2! I cannot believe two years has passed in the blink of an eye. It seems like just yesterday, we were visiting them in NICU. They have come SO far in two years! They are true miracles and we are so blessed. I thank God each and every day for his blessings and for the beautiful children he has given to us. They amaze me with the things they do and with the knowledge they have already accumulated. They make me laugh at the drop of a hat and make my heart overflow with love. Being a mother is the best job I have ever had and I cherish every moment of it!
Of the 1000 photos I take each day, 990 look like this:
We do manage to get a few cute ones too though!
When I set this up on the table, Wayne said "what's the 'Z' for?" At first, I didn't know what the heck he was talking about...then I realized that the "2" I had so carefully laid out in cupcakes on the platter, did in fact resemble a "Z". ~I tried!
Happy 2nd Birthday, Aubrey and Alexis! Mommy and Daddy love you so very much!

Happy Easter!
Today, the kids and I went over to nana and pop pops house to celebrate Easter. Unfortunately, daddy was on shift and couldn't come with us.
Of course, before we left the house, I took the annual "basket" photo! Mason was born one week before Easter. So, for his first Easter, I laid him in this basket and had him surrounded by stuffed bunnies. I thought it would be cute to put him in the same basket every Easter to show how he has grown over the years. The tradition carried over to the girls as well!
